Welcome to AAHMP

AAHMP is a new self-regulating trade organization founded by firms deeply experienced in retail real estate and its financial components. They propose to participate nationwide in response to today’s modification challenge and by doing so, hope to build upon the President’s Plan, strengthening its execution and establishing elevated, consistent, and reliable standards for mortgage modification – standards that will endure.

By requiring that its members undergo special modification training and that they adhere to clear and strict standards, AAHMP can improve industry performance and results, ensure ethical conduct, and at the same time incur greater lender, borrower and public reliance, effectively addressing the current situation while at the same time addressing the more general need for reliable national standards. Members will be required to conform to organization standards in order to maintain their membership in good standing.

Members in good standing will want to maintain that status because as such, they will be able to attract more business. Lenders will rely on them to meet special mortgage modification needs. Servicers everywhere will perform better as a result. Membership will be seen by all as a reliable and predicatively dependable seal of approval. The Standards of modification servicing will be improved by AAHMP's "branding" of quality performance.
